Jin Kou Jue · Focused Decision Reading

Liu Ren Shen Ke Jin Kou Jue Four-Position Method · one focused question, one near-term outcome, one decision. This is not a Da Liu Ren Four Lessons and Three Transmissions chart.

Jin Kou Jue addresses one immediate matter; Qi Men asks how to act within a multi-party situation; BaZi and Zi Wei examine the longer arc of a life.

Cast from Your First Thought

One matter per casting: reduce your question to one testable sentence, then enter the first positive integer that comes to mind.

Used only to determine the Earth Division (Dì Fēn 地分). Do not replace it after casting. Very large integers are supported.

Used to determine the local Day Pillar and Hour Branch, with daylight saving time handled automatically.

The chart is cast at the moment you submit. Confirm your local time.Detecting local time…

Jin Kou Jue Four-Position Chart 金口诀四位课

Method v1.0 · Four Positions

Show the Five Movements, Three Movements, void tokens, and internal generation-control relations
What this free result does—and does not do: it presents verifiable chart facts such as the Four Positions, the operative line, seasonal strength, and key generation-control relationships. It does not substitute automated prose for a practitioner’s judgment. Turning the chart into “Should I do it, when should I act, and what should I guard against?” requires a human review of both the chart and your real-world circumstances. This is a Jin Kou Jue Four-Position chart, not a Da Liu Ren Four Lessons and Three Transmissions chart.
Human-reviewed decision reading

Turn the Four Positions into a clear, actionable judgment

A practitioner checks the chart, analyzes it, writes the reading, and reviews the final delivery. It is not an AI-generated report. Start with a low-cost trial, choose a full single-issue reading, or move to Qi Men when your situation involves multiple parties and a sequence of actions.

Which method does this calculator use?

Method scope: this calculator casts the Jin Kou Jue Four-Position Method within Liu Ren Shen Ke (六壬神课金口诀四位法). It does not generate a complete Da Liu Ren chart and does not calculate the Four Lessons or the Three Transmissions (大六壬四课三传). The first-thought number is reduced by twelve to obtain the Earth Division (地分); the fixed Monthly General follows the exact solar-longitude transition at each principal term; the active Monthly General follows “place the Monthly General over the hour and transmit upward” (月将加时方上传); the Five-Rat method derives the Human Stem, Noble Spirit Stem, and General Stem; 05:00–17:00 local time is treated as day and the remainder as night; and the Day Pillar changes at local 00:00. The fixed Monthly General and the Four-Position General Spirit are shown separately, as are Day-Xun Void and the Four Great Voids.

Jin Kou Jue is designed for a focused decision: one defined matter, one near-term outcome, and one choice. First understand the Four-Position structure, then write your question as a decision that can be verified.
