What the calculator should calculate well
A reliable tool should resolve calendar date, time zone, solar-term month boundary, Heavenly Stems, Earthly Branches, hidden stems and Day Master consistently. Location may be used for historical time-zone and true-solar-time checks. These are computational tasks and are appropriate for software.
A calculator should not turn an element count into “your lucky element,” infer wealth from one Wealth star, or promise a relationship event from one branch. Those are interpretive judgments requiring the whole chart and explicit method.

- Starts with season and roots before life labels.
- Separates structure, strength/balance and climate regulation.

Inputs and privacy
The free chart or reading may use email, birth date, birth country, birth city and approximate birth time. Country and city are used for time-zone and true-solar-time correction; a street address is unnecessary. OracleEast does not request company name or phone number for BaZi analysis. If the time is uncertain, provide a rough window or mark it uncertain.
